Who we are
This website belongs to DP Digging, a landscaping and groundworks business serving Westerham, Biggin Hill, Bromley and Sevenoaks and the wider Kent area. DP Diggers Ltd is responsible for the personal information collected through this site (the “controller”).
DP Digging is a trading name of DP Diggers Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 12285016).

What we collect
When you ask for a quote using our form: your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), the postcode and address of the job, the type of project and the details you choose to tell us, when you’d like the work done, how you’d like us to reply, and how you heard about us. If you send photos, we receive those too.
When you message or call us on WhatsApp: your phone number, your WhatsApp name and anything you send us.
When you browse the site, and only if you accept analytics cookies: which pages you view, which buttons you press (including our Call and WhatsApp buttons), roughly how you found us, and whether you’re on a phone or computer. See Cookies.
Please don’t send us sensitive information (for example about health) that we don’t need to quote for your job.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, visit and quote. We use your details because you’ve asked us to (taking steps before a possible contract), and you confirm you’re happy for us to contact you when you send the form.
- To do the work and run the business if you go ahead: arranging the job, invoices and records we must keep by law.
- To improve the website: analytics, only with your consent. You can change your mind at any time with .
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t add you to a marketing list.
Who sees it
DP Digging sees your enquiry. We also use a small number of service providers who handle information for us, under their own security and privacy terms:
- Netlify: hosts this website, and receives and stores the enquiries sent through our quote form, and (if you accept analytics cookies) our record of how the site is used.
- JRP Digital: manages this website for us and receives a copy of each enquiry by email, so it reaches us quickly.
- Google Analytics (Google): only if you accept analytics cookies.
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to message or call us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies.
Some of these providers may handle information outside the UK. We only use providers that protect it in the ways UK data protection law requires. We’ll share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If you don’t go ahead, we keep your enquiry for 12 months so we can pick up where we left off if you come back, then delete it. If you do go ahead, we keep job and invoice records for as long as the law requires (usually six years for tax records).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that’s wrong
- delete your information, where we don’t need to keep it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- move it to someone else, in some cases
Where we rely on your consent (analytics), you can withdraw it at any time. Just ask using the details below. We’ll reply within one month.
Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies (like your browser’s local storage) are small pieces of information saved on your device. We use two kinds:
- Essential: needed for the site to work as you’d expect. These don’t need your permission.
- Analytics: help us understand how the site is used. These are only set if you click Accept. If you reject them, or haven’t chosen yet, nothing is measured.
